Working with our recycling partners, Evoque provide a full inventory, collection and processing service to ensure that no damaged items end up in landfill. A Net Zero certificate is provided alongside a report detailing the weight of items recycled and how the items will be reused.
The Evoque salvage process is a no cost innovative solution, serving the insurance industry since 2015. Once Evoque are appointed, the whole process is dealt with from collection to sale, working on the insurers behalf to maximise value and reduce losses.

On average 90% of all items sell during this period.
On day 31, Evoque will make an offer to purchase the remaining stock, allowing maximum value to be achieved for the insurer and the surveyor/ handler can close their file.
Once case has closed, insurer will be paid the full amount, minus costs and Evoque fee (30% of profit achieved).

Evoque will send a representative to site to assess quantity of items as well as removal and recycle options.
A full report will be provided.
Quotation will then be provided for the work.
Quoted service will include removal from site, on site project management and recycling.
If any sale can be achieved for the waste we will include that in the quote and remove from the fee.
Once approved, an Evoque Project Manager will be in touch regarding removal dates.
Items will then be removed to Evoque warehousing.
Items are then recycled through our approved recycle partners and will be re used in a number of different ways.

Through Landfill Reductions

Evoque was tasked with managing a surplus of stock from a furniture warehouse after it suffered water ingress. Upon our arrival at the site, Evoque promptly conducted a thorough inventory assessment. Initially, the Adjuster’s only solution was to dispose of the items in skips, potentially incurring a hefty £25,000 cost for skip hire for the insurer. However, given that the damage was limited to the packaging, Evoque devised an alternative approach: salvaging the items and reselling them through their private buyer network.
By implementing this strategy, Evoque not only prevented 5,000 kilograms of waste from ending up in landfill but also generated significant savings for the insurer. Through a combination of successful salvage sales and the avoidance of skip hire expenses, the insurer realised a net saving of £35,000.

A Number of items were written of by insurers after a fire spread through a yard containing a number of items of Plant & equipment.
Evoque were able to refurbish 4 of the items for resale, with 2 being sold for parts.
All items were collected, checked, refurbished and sold through the Evoque process.

Evoque attended Major Complex Loss (MCL) case at a large garden centre which had suffered damage during the recent storms.
A large quantity of stock items were salvageable, which were dealt with, however some items were very badly damaged and needed recycling.
Evoque took circa 150 Tons of waste and various materials including wood and plastics were sent to our recycling partners for processing. The planters pictured were given to a local charity.
Evoque has the site cleared in 2 days, allowing the Disaster Restoration company to get on with the reinstatement of the property and ensuring nothing entered landfill.
Evoque were appointed by a major loss adjuster to handle a large quantity (approx. 1400) of solar panels that had been surplus over order on a fire damage claim. The policyholder has been trying to sell the items for several months with no success. Settlement was set at £175k.
Items were collected from a site in Portsmouth and bought back to Evoque warehouses for assessment and cataloguing. The panels were then sold in 2 separate consignments for a combined total of £111,060. After costs and Evoque commission (30% of profit), the insurer was returned £71,168, which equates to 40.67% of the settlement returned.
